Get the alerts on your phone
Cuyahoga County's emergency alert system is ReadyNotify (weather, boil-water notices, emergencies). Sign up on the County's page: cuyahogacounty.gov/ready/readynotify. The system moved to a new platform in 2025; people registered before may need to register again.
Smell gas? Leave the house first, then call 911 or your gas company from outside. Do not switch lights or anything electric on or off on the way out.
